Biography
Vladimir Trajkovic received the B.Sc. degree with majors in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Nis, Serbia in 2000. He received Ph.D. degree in Wireless Communications from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in July 2005. Between July 2005 and August 2006 he was with the Wireless Signal Processing Program, National ICT Australia, Canberra Research Lab. Since August 2006 he has been a post-doc at the University of Newcastle working on iterative detection. His areas of interest cover iterative detection methods, adaptive signal processing and information and coding theory. He was recipient of prestigious IPRS, UIPRS and NICTA scholarships and awards. He is also a recipient of the 2nd place Award in the IEEE Region 10 (Asia and Pacific) 2003 Postgraduate Student Paper Competition.
