Biography

Dr Ahmet Sekercioglu is a researcher at the Centre for Telecommunications and Information Engineering (CTIE) and a Senior Lecturer at Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering Department of Monash University. He also holds the position of Program Leader for the Applications Program of Australian Telecommunications Cooperative Research Centre (ATcrc -- www.atcrc.com). He has completed his PhD degree at Swinburne University of Technology, and BSc, MSc (all in Electrical and Electronics Engineering) degrees at Middle East Technical University. He has lectured at Swinburne University of Technology for 8 years, and has had numerous positions as a research engineer in private industry. He has published several journal articles, conference papers and two book chapters. His more recent work focuses on development of tools for simulation of large-scale telecommunication networks. He is also interested in application of intelligent control techniques for multiservice networks as complex, distributed systems.
