Biography

Aruna Jayasuriya received the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering with first class honours) degree from the University of Adelaide in 1997 and the PhD (Information Engineering) degree from University of South Australia in 2001. His PhD thesis was titled Improved Handover Performance Through Mobility Predictions. Since August 2001 he has been with the Institute for Telecommunications Research, University of South Australia.

Dr Jayasuriya is a member of the Telecommunication Networks and Services Research Group at ITR. His research interests includes traffic modelling, network dimensioning, Quality of Service in IP networks, mobility predictions and handover algorithms in wireless networks and Ad hoc networks.
