Biography

Linda Davis recently returned to academia, and is now leading the integrated Wireless Communication Systems research group within the Department of Electronics at Macquarie University. Linda has much industrial wireless research experience, previously holding research positions with Agere Systems, Bell Labs, and the Defence Science and Technology Organisation.

Linda's research interests include algorithms and architectures for single and multi-antenna wireless systems with emphasis on channel estimation, equalization, detection and decoding.

Linda received her B.E. (Elec) with honours from the University of Adelaide in 1994, and her Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne in 1999. In 2005, she obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM).

Linda is a co-founder of the annual Australian Communication Theory Workshop.
