Lang White graduated from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia with the degrees of B. Sc.(maths), B. E.( Hons) and Ph. D. (Electrical Eng.) in 1984, 85 and 89 respectively. From 1986-1999, he worked for the Defence Science and Technology Organisation, Salisbury, South Australia. Since 1999, he has been Professor in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Adelaide where he is also Director of the Centre for Internet Research. Prof White's research interests include signal processing, control, telecommunications and internet engineering.
