Biography

I received my PhD from The Electrical Engineering Department, The University of Sydney, Australia in 1994. In 1996 I was appointed head of the communications group in Motorola Australian Research Center. From 1996 to 1999 I was serving as a fellow at The Australian National University, Canberra. Currently I am an associate professor at The University of New South Wales, Sydney.

My research interests include areas such as: adaptive code division multiple access systems (CDMA), mobile communication systems, multiuser information theory and error control coding.
