ACoRN-NEWCOM Workshop on Coding, MIMO-OFDM, and Cooperative Communications

  • Date: Dec 3-4, 2008
  • Where: ITR, University of South Australia, Mawson Lakes Campus, Building W, Mawon Lakes, South Australia
  • Organised by: Dr Ingmar Land, Dr. Gottfried Lechner, and Prof. Lars K. Rasmussen, ITR, University of South Australia

Scope and Format

The objective of the workshop is to bring together researchers from ACoRN and NEWCOM, presenting current research activities of common interest, building links, and exploring opportunities for collaboration. The workshop is scheduled in connection with the tutorial on Network Coding and Security, taking advantage of a double-event. The focus of the workshop will be on modern coding techniques, MIMO OFDM systems, and cooperative communications.

The workshop will be held over two days with 30-40 minutes presentations, allowing for ample time for discussions. There will be a number of invited presentations, as well as solicited and reviewed submissions for presentation.

Researchers (senior and junior) and research students working in the focus areas are encouraged to attend the workshop. As limited slots are available in the program, researchers and research students interested in presenting current work should submit a proposal for a talk (1/2 to 1 A4 page) before 15th November 2008 via email to Ingmar.Land@unisa.edu.au .
