ACoRN National and International Workshops Program

The national and international workshops program offers a forum for organising national and international technical meetings in terms of international conferences and workshops held in Australia, bi-lateral workshops with relevant organisations/nations, and industry workshops.

The program will attract renowned international conferences to Australia by offering initial sponsorship. One of the main achievements to date is the establishment of a signed collaborative agreement between NEWCOM and ACoRN. The first joint ACoRN/NEWCOM workshop was held in Vienna in September 2006. Furthermore, this program supports international and domestic conference attendance, as well as workshop organisation and attendance.

This program contains four activities, namely sponsorship for International conferences hosted in Australia, International conferences attendances grants, domestic conference attendance grants, and workshops support. For more information about the four activities, please follow the links below.

Questions can be directed to the Executive Board members responsible for this program, A/Prof. Jamie Evans.
